sharing the love...

well my bags are packed and this time they are BOTH under 50 lbs (yay!) but before i leave for the weekend, a couple of things to share with you!

did you ever wonder what you can do with the extra chipboard pages inside our chipboard binder albums? turn them into some cool photo layouts like this:

add some papers, photos, stickers and ribbons (MR ribbons) tied in the holes and look what you can create! i tend not to use all 8 of the pages in the binder album so these leftover goodies make great gifts!

oh yeah and peeps, don't forget about our DT contest. i do expect ALL of you blog readers to enter - remember if you don't enter, you can't win.

http://www.mayaroad.com/2006MRDesignTeam.htm

i do expect that we will be personally talking to some of you on the phone. be ready for my hard nose, in depth questions - totally kidding! i left that all behind in my old job. so no need to show us your transcripts in this interview!

and finally, one more give away for this weekend while i am gone! i made this as a class sample:

it along with some fabbie MR stuff can be yours. i really hate to throw things away. in fact, this fabbie pen along with a manila envie of MR stuff can be yours if you win !

to win, please post here (non anon) and tell me the following:

what topics would you love for me to cover in this blog? i could talk about noah all day (as you know) and various and sundry parts of MR too - but what is it that you want to know about? as you all know, deb and i are pretty open and honest about a lot of things. but i would love to hear what you want to know about us or MR or whatever. so speak to me, people.

and you can post here til sunday when i get back to town.

have fun!

i am off to wear my toque (hat i believe) and long johns in regina, canada! i also need to get me some tim horton's coffee (or so i hear)

Love the cuteness! As far as the blog, more sneak peaks, more ideas on what to do with your wonderful products, more about life in general, and DEFINITELY more Noah!!! BTW, where are the food pictures? I miss those! ;) Have a safe and fun trip!

I too first check in to see a new photo of Noah and here how fast he is growing. Second I love to see your projects. To see how the "creator" uses the products is just too much fun! I love reading the stories about you and Deb. I giggle sometimes and often shake my head while thinking of me and my sister! (don't know if we could run a business together as well as you two do!)
Heck I love the blog period!

Hi my first time commenting here....
I love looking at your blog and reading about Noah and your life in general. I too would love more sneak peeks but would ask you to reveal too much behind the scenes production info.
Hope you had a great trip. : )

Oh my goodness! I am so happy that I stumbled across your blog today.
I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed your art inspriation journal class at Scrapfest in September. I would have told you sooner but, I just discovered this existed. Until your class, to be perfectly honest, I hadn't used any of your product but since then I can't get enough of it. Not only do I love it but it is hard to find in the LSS I shop at. I am on a mission now to find some so I can submit to the DT search.
Thank you for continuing to share with us, your personal and business life. It is so cool to have someone from behind the scenes of a business, share with those of us who buy the product. Keep up the fabulous work!

Hi Caroline, I'm a fairly new reader on your blog.

I would love to know what inspired you and Deb to start up Maya Road (sorry if you've covered this before) also where do you find inspiration for your projects and layouts from.

I really like the sneak peeks of upcoming products. I also love project ideas such as the ones featured in this post.

How was the coffee and weather in Regina? I'm in New Brunswick. We're not wearing our winter hats here, yet. (Thankfully)

First time to comment on your blog. Definitely not the first time I've read it. I love to hear about the everyday stuff that makes somebody smile. And Noah definitely fits that bill. What makes the company tick would be of interest-the places you'be been-the places you'll go.

I would love for you to share where us internationals can get our hands on your new products as they come out. We tend to just get the new stuff the week the "newer" stuff arrives in the US. (online stores maybe??)

Also I would love to hear what though processes you have when designing your products. Whether you gain inspiration from fashion, everyday stuff etc.

Just wanted to add that I am loving your binder albums at the moment too!!

Mel
