something to ponder...
did you know that if you make $35,000 (USD) a year - you have more money than 95% of the world's population? i was listening to the radio today and heard about this website : http://www.globalrichlist.com/ - you can put in your salary and it will tell you where you fall in the world's population in terms of money wealth. it is a good way to put things in perspective. while $35,000 a year isn't considered great wealth in the US, sometimes it helps to take a step back and reflect upon what you truly have.

I've heard something similar as well. The same goes for literacy rates as well. We definitely take a lot for granted in our lives. Thanks for the reminder, Caroline.
